What to expect
Everybody is an individual and may require either one, or multiple consultations with our nutritionist to tailor their advice and nutrition programs to suit individual needs.
The initial consultation will involve an assessment of current health and nutrition status including medical history, body measurements, biochemical markers (if available) and discussion of lifestyle and health goals. A personalised eating plan may then be developed based on nutrient/energy requirements, goals and lifestyle factors. This may include follow up consultations, food diaries, and take home information such as resources, fact sheets, recipes and eating plans.
Follow up consultations may be required to support progress, monitor weight and body measurements and amend eating plans as required.
A referral is not necessary to see a nutritionist as a private patient.
Cancellation policy - please provide at least 24hrs notice if you wish to cancel or reschedule your appointment. A 50% cancellation fee will apply for any appointments cancelled within 24hrs.
